Continually feeding into negative aspects and bashing will do nothing but give it power. So instead i choose to focus on things that inspire me, like how my ancestors traded and traveled a HUGE portion of the world with very limited navigation on boats that were expertly crafted and far before there time all to travel, explore and trade which is the true meaning to be Viking. As someone who does a traditional craft for a living, travels hundreds of miles and “trades” i feel i know at least part of what it is to be viking and live the positive aspects of it, and to rest my case i wanted to share this picture of a beautiful viking sword that is a replica and recreated using exact materials to show some of the amazing artisan skills of the Norse. so i challenge everyone to post why they like people from the viking era and how they inspire you to this day.
